Ultrasound evaluation of the abductor hallucis muscle - reliability study (Visit this link)

The Abductor hallucis muscle (AbdH) plays an integral role during gait and is often affected in pathological foot conditions. The aim of this study was to establish a standardised protocol using diagnostic ultrasound imaging to evaluate the reliability of measurement of cross-sectional area, length and width of the AbdH muscle in asymptomatic adults.
