Galeazzi Fracture Adults Wheeless
- fracture of radial shaft (between middle and distal 1/3's) & dislocation of distal radioulnar joint;
- usually the dislocation is dorsal, but in some cases can be palmar;
- fracture is almost always located just above proximal border of pronator quadratus;
- usually there is anterior angulation w/ transverse or short oblique configuration;

The Galeazzi fracture-dislocation is an injury pattern involving a radial shaft fracture with associated dislocation of the distal radioulnar joint (DRUJ); the injury disrupts the forearm axis joint.
