Acromioclavicular (AC) Joint Separation

A shoulder separation is a fairly common injury, especially in an athletic population. A shoulder separation is actually a dislocation of the acromioclavicular (AC) joint, the joint between the scapula (shoulder blade) and the clavicle (collarbone).
